One of the most important “hotel” systems on a vessel, Black and Graywater system repipe, and installations are a specialty of Headhunter. Headhunter can provide a turnkey package including pumps, control panels, and level sensors. Our technicians are fluent in metric or imperial piping and are certified in various piping materials, including stainless, Class Approved CPVC, Cuni, Viega, and RM. Retrofitting a Ballast Water Systems to a yacht can be a challenge due to their physical size, piping requirements, and power needs. Sometimes they are required to help keep the vessel in class. Typically a Naval Architect is commissioned to study the vessel's ballast and stability options to comply with IMO and stability requirements and Headhunter is brought onboard after revised ballast water system diagrams have been approved by class. Headhunter has an experienced team of skilled Lloyds Certified CuNi Pipe Welders, fitters, and electricians that can help get you to the finish line and maintain class status.

Fire Suppression Systems are a critical safety system required for class and flag compliance. Typically, the system operates at high pressures of approximately 1500 psi (1000 bar) and requires stainless pipework installed in/ around /and above expensive interior accommodation spaces. Leaky pipework can cause significant damage, and careful installation is required. During the installation, flushing and Hydrostatic pressure tests of the pipework must be witnessed by Class surveyors (Lloyds, BV, DNV etc.) Headhunter works with leading manufacturers of fire suppression systems, such as Ultrafog, to ensure proper installation.
